SONG SPOTLIGHT: Perfectly Imperfect

Published on April 29, 2019

“What if I told you you’re perfect? Perfectly imperfect”

Inspired by the legacy of Motown’s artistry, activism and entrepreneurship, WHAT’S GOING ON is a full-length album of original student music, in which young people respond to what’s going on in their own lives.

The album was created through a unique year-long collaboration between LiveConnections and Philadelphia public high school Hill-Freedman World Academy.

“Perfectly Imperfect” is one of our favorite songs on the album, an example of how powerful the voices of young people can be.
